Am I the only one excited that school is back in session? #AD

We loved spending time and vacationing together this summer, but let’s get real, everyone involved is excited about going back to school! (at least in this house, hahaha 😂)

But in order to feel some peace of mind aside from the excitement, we’re getting our COVID-19 vaccine booster!

The decision couldn’t have been easier. We talked to our primary care doctor about the COVID-19 #VaxFacts and educated ourselves to make the best possible decision for our family.

Hey you!... It's been a while. Yes, this is me.

I've been finding it incredibly difficult to conjure anything creative.
.
I scroll Instagram for like a min and immediately close it because it's hard to see people being creative so 'effortlessly'.

I know it's a lot of work, which is why I haven't been able to generate the energy to do it.
.
This is me most days. Hair messed up, overgrown eyebrows and the want to do creative things but not having enough will to do so.
.
Does that even make sense?

My brain feels like mush and though I'm dealing with this fog, it's still hard.
.
I know, it sounds whiny, but I just wanted to say hi, and hope you stick around for when I finally get these creative juices flowing.

I miss interacting with you and doing all sorts of DIY!

I actually have a few DIYs that are Halloween related and fingers crossed 🤞 I can get them out in time! 😊

It's been a while! Hope you're doing awesome! This year is already flying by and I just feel a little overwhelmed 😩
.
Been busy getting tax info in order, trying to deep clean some (washing curtains, shrinking them and then buying replacements, too counts! 😂), being down with a cold for a week certainly didn't help, trying to do house projects, including an impromptu desk makeover (because my new executive desk wasn't going to paint itself 😁) then bringing it upstairs and realizing that it might have to stay in this house forever if we move because it could possibly weigh a literal ton 😂 and then rearranging things around it because otherwise I wouldn't be able to slide out from under the desk...

I'm physically and mentally exhausted.
I look like a hobo every single day. (see exhibit A)
House looks OK for a day or 2 then it looks like a tornado came through. 🤷‍♀️

I keep trying to declutter but the more I try the more shit appears! Like where is it coming from??
.
And sooooooo many other things that are simultaneously going on in the background.

Maybe I just need a nice long bath 🤔

There's so many new things I want to do and try out and I will make 2021 mine! 😁
One of those things is not only getting craftier, but taking it to the next level-- that's right I got an @officialcricut maker! And this little guy is my very first project! #notsponsored

If there's any resolution that you have in mind, do it! Or at least try! There's nothing wrong with a short lived resolution because you can always pick a different one! Plus 2020's dumpster fire kinda gives you a break pass 😉 so no pressure!
