Who doesn’t love a themed park?

We’re just shy of a year since we moved to South Carolina and as we keep venturing out around town, we keep finding the most adorable parks!

This time we ventured to Runway Park at GMU (Greenville Downtown Airport) located in Greenville, SC. Full disclosure, we’ve only been there a couple times, but we haven’t had any complaints!

If you haven’t guessed it from the title, this park is airplane/airport-themed. There you will get to see airplane models, control tower on the playset, runway taxi for the little one’s bicycles, and even has a view of the actual airport runway where you can see planes and helicopters take off!

There is also a picnic table area and right next door is Runway Cafe! Runway Cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating as well as a banquet hall. We haven’t tried the cafe as of yet, but we’re looking forward to the next time we visit!

This park is easily becoming one of our favorites in Greenville because of how different and fun it is.

If you visit this park be ready with sunscreen because the only shaded area is where the picnic tables are!
