New Year’s Resolution
2018 Edition
New year, new me! Right?
You’re damn right! Haha.
I’ve heard some people say that it’s overrated or that there’s no need to change anything because they are happy how they are. And sure, kuddos if you’re one of those people! But, in my personal opinion, I think of it as an opportunity to better myself. Not necessarily change, because I too am happy with the way I am, but I also have room for improvement, after all, I’m not perfect!
For 2018, I have set 3 resolutions and sure they are a bit ambitious, but that’s what’s it’s all about!
Two of my resolutions are personal. One is the most common cliche one you can think of– start a workout routine. I do not specifically seek to lose weight because I am already starting the year pregnant, which means I cannot diet. As for the rest of the year, I plan to breastfeed, so I cannot do anything too restricting with my food intake. What I do plan, is to start a workout routine that helps me maintain energy levels up if I want to keep up now that there will be 2 babies in the house. And you know, if it happens to help with weight loss and toning, then YAY!
The second personal resolution is one that husband and I will share, which is to complete house projects! This one we are very excited about. We already have some tools and a long list of things we want to make for our home. So prepare for a lot of DIY bragging!
My third resolution is for this blog. Last year with everything that we had going on– getting used to having a little person to look after, which takes up most of your time, and purchasing our new home and moving cross country— it was a little tough to keep the content consistently coming out. So for the new year, my bottom line resolution for Little Conquest is to manage time more efficiently so that I can post more content more consistently. Also, new things are happening and new content will be rolling out! Subscribe to our newsletter here or below to receive these updates and exclusive content that will be for subscribers only!
What do you think about resolutions? Have you set or started working on a resolution?
