Travel: Ocho Rios, Jamaica!

In the spirit of our (mine & hubby’s) 3 year anniversary, I wanted to share what our honeymoon and 1st-anniversary destination looked like!

For our honeymoon, we knew that we wanted to go somewhere where neither one of us had been to. What a better place than the beach! But, not just any other beach. We decided to go to Jamaica!

This wasn’t an easy decision, as husband and I pretty much paid the wedding out of pocket and had very limited budget to work with. Before we decided on Jamaica, one day at Costco we ran into some interesting pamphlets and we decided to check it out. Costco Travel has so many affordable options. Now, since we knew we wanted a beach but not in the US, we filtered the Caribbean, all-inclusive packages, and voila!

We fell in love with Couples Resorts. They have a few to choose from and they are all, all-inclusive, adult-only beachfront resorts. We opted for Couples Tower Isle, which is located in Ocho Rios. This resort has a nude island (which husband and I couldn’t bring ourselves to visit).

They have a few restaurants, a nightclub, spa, all within the resort and most importantly, all alcoholic drinks are included! They host a variety of activities throughout the day, every day. So many good things always happening there and everyone is very friendly. We truly recommend it!

The sights are also very beautiful and they are a must since there is an hour drive from the airport to the resort.

Fun Fact: Baby CJ was made here. *giggles*
