~ Things to do this Valentine’s Day ~
Valentine’s Day is coming and fast!
Do you ever overthink the simplest things? If you do, you are not alone! I do it ALL the time. And the most annoying part is that at the end, the choice I make couldn’t have been a simpler one, which turns out to be like the first thing I thought about! Hahaha.
Anyway.
Because I do want to make your life easier, I did some brainstorming and came up with some ideas on things to do this Valentine’s Day!
// Dinner or Breakfast in Bed
Cook something delicious and serve it to your loved one! Husband and I sometimes cook a meal and eat it in bed while binging on Netflix!
// Picnic
Pack up a bottle of wine and create a simple cold meal or put together a kit to create a meal at a nearby park or even your backyard, if possible. If you’re in a place that is still too cold to enjoy the outdoors, you can picnic indoors! Best of all, it’s perfect for a family Valentine’s Day celebration!
// Staycation
Sometimes the best getaways are right in your town and sometimes a change of scenery is all you need to spark some extra lovin’!
// Recreate Your First Date
Nothing is more romantic than showing your significant other that you remember details from your first date. If your first date was horrible, recreate it the way you wish it would have gone!
// Movie Night
Another activity that works for both couples and family night! Here are some movies that will be showing this Valentine’s Day:

Great ideas! We are thinking about doing a paint night at home for Valentines day!
That’s such a great idea, I love it!
Love the idea of recreating the first date! My husband and my first date actually was on Valentine’s Day! It wasn’t horrible so I don’t know if I need to change much but that’s a hilariously good idea!! 🤣
Hahaha! I’d love to know how that goes! Ours wasn’t horrible, but I’ve heard stories! lol
These are great ideas. I love the idea of recreating the first date. Though when I think of ours it was a crazy night of dancing and drinking lol. We will be spending the evening together as a family sharing the love.
You can always take a rain-check and recreate it on a date night!
I really like your staycation idea! There are always so many ways to have such a good valentines at home!
I agree! Specially when it falls on a weekday!

Love the recreate your first date idea… Although we’ve been together so long that restaurant is now a Walgreens! LOL! (I wouldn’t mind stopping by to pick up a few deals but not necessarily hubs fave thing! 😉 )
That is such a great story! I would still try to recreate the date, minus the eating part! I think that would be interesting and make some great photos!
Love the ideas! My husband are doing the classic dinner and a movie this year! Simple but classic!
Can’t go wrong with classic! We’re going to attempt it with our toddler — Wish us luck!
