Paradigm Shifter
Meet the shifting lady behind Paradigm Shifter and what thatβs all about!
- Firstly, please tell us about yourself!
My name’s Juvie but my friends call me several nicknames (Natalya, Juvielyn, Juju, Juvz, etc…). Yes, there are more names. Lol. I used to rant about my name being boring (it only has 5 letters!) whilst all of them have 2 names. So they started calling me different names π Natalya is a different story, though. At work, Natalie is my chosen chat name because as my mother used to tell me, they would’ve named me after my grandmother (Natalia) but they opted to use Juvie instead (combination of my mother and father’s name).
I was born and residing in the Philippines where people are hospitable and friendly.
Paradigm Shifter wasn’t my first choice. I really cracked my brain in thinking of a good website name that represents what I wanted to achieve. I started this blog because I wanted to do something different and I like trying out new things, hence, shifting paradigms π
- What is Paradigm Shifter all about?
I don’t have a specific topic that I discuss on my blog. It’s really anything under the sun π However, my main goal is to share ideas and experiences in which others can benefit from.
- What inspired you to start Paradigm Shifter?
Whenever I want to know something, I turn to the internet for help. There, I read blogs, feedback, etc… about a certain product, services, and opinions, from and of other people. These blogs and feedback helped me decide if I want to continue with the service or if I’d still push to buy that item. I want to help others make a sound decision as well by sharing my ideas, experiences, and opinions. It’s really about helping others. Aside from that, I’d like to improve my writing skills and there’s no better place to do that than my own blog page π
- What type of articles does Paradigm Shifter focus on?
I have several but one thing I enjoy writing is the reviews. I’ve stalled blogging for a few weeks since I was on vacation but I didn’t stop watching films so I really have a lot to write about. This is also something I want to work on so I keep on writing reviews no matter how shit*y they turned out to be π
— Note from Paradigm Shifterβs Juvie!
I’ve met several virtual friends through blogging which I wouldn’t normally have in real life. It’s fun being part of a totally different world and I hope I can stay here for as long as I can. π
